This ring is created from the California coastline, and then 3D-printed in either silver or brass.

The design was created from Natural Earth data, converting the geoJSON into SVG and then manipulating the design in Illustrator. The coastline is exaggerated on the final ring to make the design printable by current 3D printing standards.
